Welcome Wren parents & carers! We are very happy to be able to continue to offer you our after school tag rugby sessions for the 2024/25 academic year.

Tag rugby is a non contact sport and our after school tag rugby club programme is designed for Years 1-6, providing a safe and encouraging space for kids to learn together. Please note children will be split into age appropriate groups. No experience or skill is necessary for our sessions and if your child is in years 3-6, they will have a chance to showcase what they have learnt at our All Valley Tag Rugby Tournament that we hold twice a year for our after school club attendees. All club attendees in KS2 will be invited to compete against other schools in the area with all children getting the chance to play.

Sessions will take place weekly from after school until 4:30pm.

Refund Policy for After-School Tag Rugby Club Sessions

At Accelerate Sports, we aim to provide high-quality after-school tag rugby sessions. We understand that circumstances can change, and as such, we have outlined our refund policy in line with UK consumer law and best practices.

1. Cancellation by the Club
In the event that a session is cancelled by Accelerate Sports due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., adverse weather, instructor illness, or facility issues), we will:
Offer a replacement session at a later date or,
Provide a full refund for the cancelled session(s).
If multiple sessions are affected (e.g., in the case of a long-term closure), a prorated refund will be provided based on the number of sessions affected.

2. Cancellation by Parent/Guardian
Notice Provided 14 Days Before the Start of the Term:
If you wish to cancel your child’s enrolment more than 14 days before the start of the term, you will be entitled to a full refund of the fees paid.

Notice Provided Less Than 14 Days Before the Start of the Term:
If you cancel your child’s enrolment less than 14 days before the start of the term, you will be entitled to a 50% refund.

No Refund After the Term Starts:
Once the term has commenced, we do not offer refunds if your child cannot attend sessions for any reason (e.g., illness, holidays, change of schedule).

3. Missed Sessions
We are unable to provide refunds for sessions missed due to personal reasons (e.g., illness, holidays, or other commitments).

4. Injury or Long-Term Illness
If your child is unable to attend sessions for the remainder of the term due to a long-term illness or injury (certified by a doctor), we will offer:
A prorated refund for the missed sessions, or,
A credit toward future sessions at our discretion.

5. Payment of Refunds
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of the refund request being approved, and will be made via the original payment method used unless otherwise agreed.
Please note that childcare vouchers and HMRC Tax-Free Childcare payments cannot be refunded. In such cases, we may offer a credit toward future sessions, at the discretion of the club.

6. Changes to the Policy
Accelerate Sports reserves the right to modify or update this refund policy. Any changes will be communicated to parents/guardians and posted on our website. Refund requests will be handled in line with the policy in place at the time of booking.
